The Superhero Program was created to reduce children’s anxiety in stressful situations through empowerment with a superhero cape and mask.

Unfortunately, kids sometime have to undergo scary medical procedures, are present when a crime takes place or are our separated from friends and love ones. In these difficult times, slipping on a mask can help transform the child and situation and provide inner strength when it is needed most.

Friends of Jack Foundation founder Jill Fearons discovered the importance of small but impactful gestures while navigating many emergency and high-risk medical procedures with her son, Jack.

By getting a teddy bear and superhero cape into the hands of every child, we’re helping to create a positive and supportive hospital environment, and ensure that every hospital, child, and family has every possible resource to work towards positive health outcomes.
